CONVERSION IS FAST AND EASY.

Step 1. Download your footage selection. These appear as R3D files. REDCINE will be required to read your footage files.

Step 2. Go to www.red.com and download the REDCINE conversion software.

Step 3. Import your R3D files into REDCINE.

Step 4. Output into any size or format.

(ProRes 422 is recommended for native editing in 2K, the highest resolution format currently available for native editing in FCP).

Step 5. Import into Final Cut Pro Studio 2 for native editing. *Note: you will need to run your Software Update to get the latest RED-supported software upgrades.

RED Digital Cinema R3D files are raw files, and raw video files will behave like raw still photo files. You can adjust color, latitude, temperature, contrast, and more with simplicity and ease before you export your files.
